RICOH Tournament
On Friday the 9th of September, I went to the RICOH Sports Tournament held at the Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North New Zealand. I was representing my school in Football. All the Sports were Soccer, Rugby, Netball, Basketball and Hockey. We came 2nd but won the overall Trophy. We won Rugby and Basketball.
The preparation was exhausting. 6 hour training every week, giving up my lunchtimes. We trained super hard. The day that I woke up, I knew it was going to be a day like never before. I tried to wake up early and train in the garden early. When Mum woke up I ate the biggest breakfast I had ever had. Huge like never before.
When we got to school, my nerves were so high. I couldn't wait to go but at the same time nervous to lose the football. We had won the football 4 years in a row.
At least we won the overall trophy!
